The Security Industry Authority (SIA) in the UK and the CNAPS in France serve as regulatory bodies for individuals seeking to work in their respective countries. However, post-Brexit, residency and language requirements have been established. In response to this, the HABC International Level 3 Close Protection program offers comprehensive training to meet these regulatory standards and provide individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the close protection field.
While many SIA and CNAPS approved centers may provide basic training, they may not fully prepare individuals for the real-life scenarios they may encounter on the job they might focus on fantasy such as rifle shooting, and keep in mind that in most situations you will not be allowed to work armed, specially in the UK but also in many African or Middle-East countries. The HABC International Level 3 Close Protection program has been designed specifically to address these scenarios, in response to the request of Highfield and tailored to meet the evolving needs of close protection operatives.
For instance, traditional training programs may focus on drills with teams of 4,5,6 close protection operatives, but may not provide training on how to work independently or with only a driver and in the most tasks you will have to work alone. The HABC International Level 3 Close Protection program, on the other hand, prepares individuals to work in various countries and in collaboration with different close protection cultures, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in a rapidly evolving industry.
